Andrew Murray started racing at 5 years old.
He won his very first race which has fueled
his passion for racing.
In 2006 Andrew won his first Stars Of Karting
event, the most prestigious level of
Karting in the United States.
During the 2006 season Andrew
won four pole positions, and
won two events. And only
finishing out of the top
five when mechanical
problems halted his march
to victory. He was competing
at 9 years of age against kids up to
13 years. He was ranked 5th in the
United States at the end of the season.
The 2007 season started with a 2nd place
Andrew was the fastest car on the track
all day Friday in practice. In the 10 minute
qualifying session, Andrew completed one lap when his brake system failed,
placing him into the 8th position. He then fought his way from

The 2008 Season began in Ocala, Florida. Andrew qualified on pole. Then
with intermittant rain, he won the race in the rain, and finished with
2 second place trophies in the dry. On Sunday starting from the pole position,
and in the pouring rain, Andrew was taken out in turn one, ending his dominsance
of
the field. In the next race, still in the rain he finished third due to the fact that his helmet fogged over and he had to drive by looking for the rumble strips and memory.
During the 2008 season it was a race for the championship between Trent Hindman, from New York and Andrew. In the final race of the year Andrew beat Trend in the final two races but needed to win by two more cars to win the championship.

1st RACE - 1ST WIN
2009 - TIME TO GO OPEN WHEEL RACING
Now I have a Dirt car and a pavement car and having a lot of fun and winning.
USAC is really weird in that no matter how far up you finish in the heat
race you always start towards the back in the main. This makes for great
racing but tough on winning a lot.
